Fire Training Without Fire
In this particular training exercise, our staff will explain in detail and also demonstrate how to use the different types of fire extinguishers. Following this training session students will then personally use the fire extinguishers by discharging them whilst aimed at the ground. Included in this training is the viewing two videos plus relevant handouts for your workplace records. At the conclusion of the completed training session, a list of all attendees will be compiled for the Certification of their training course. This Fire Training without Fire course is approximately one hour in duration and sessions may be conducted for one to maximum ten attendees.
Fire Training With Fire (Using Metal Trays)
In this particular training exercise, our staff will light fires outdoors in metal trays only. Trainers will then explain and demonstrate in detail how to effectively extinguish a fire, and will also explain the different types of extinguishers and their relevant applications. At the conclusion of this section of training, the facilitator will show two videos and submit handouts for your workplace records. Question time will follow, where students can ask the facilitator any queries. Following this, students will then extinguish fires with the various fire extinguishers themselves. Once again, at the conclusion of this training exercise, a list of all attendees will be compiled for the Certification of their training course. This Fire Training with Fire course is approximately two hours in duration. Sessions may be conducted for one to maximum ten attendees.
Fire Warden Training Course (AS 3745)
This is a 2 hour course, delivered by a qualified instructor, focusing on the development of a team of Fire Safety workplace representatives and their role in emergency situations. The course details the functions and duties of a Fire Safety team, types of workplace emergencies, how to report emergencies, location of Emergency Assembly areas and undertaking workplace evacuations. Video footage and open discussion are an integral part of this course. Certification is issued on course completion. Sessions may be conducted for one to maximum ten attendees.
